When immediate care is needed, avoiding the emergency room can save time and money — up to $1,900 per visit. Engagement Solutions has developed a robust toolkit of resources to help increase member awareness of care settings — including onsite posters, direct mail, emails, videos, digital resources and more. Advanced targeting methodologies allow us to specifically target members who have had one or more non-emergent ER visits, allowing for additional education regarding care options to those who need it most. 

RESULTS ACHIEVED: 56% decrease in inappropriate ER visits, 17% diversion of inappropriate ER visits to urgent care center and 14% diversion of inappropriate ER visits to Virtual Visits.*
